Re: How do you know CAM is recognized ?

Yesterday I went to a shop and was able to see that my Alphacrypt is working well. I think my Technotrend card is not seeing the CAM. Do I have to add extra load parameters to the module or load extra modules ?

Hello,

My Technotrend C-2300 (Hauppauge Nexus CA v 2.3) card has an external
3.5" module, but it does not seem to work. How can I verify whether :
1) the CAM (an Alphacrypt) is recognized - I would like to know which
version of the CAM I have
2) the smartcard inserted in the CAM is working
With VDR, I can do all kinds of SmartCard-queries like, e.g., the
cardNumber.
What do you mean with SmartCard-queries ? Going into the menu setup > CICAM, I do not see anything...
Below you got some system information from my computer
