Hello to the list, I've a problem with this device (lsusb) Bus 001 Device 007: ID eb1a:2881 eMPIA Technology, Inc. which is a pinnacle pctv hybrid pro stick. In November Markus Rechberger answered me > it's a known bug at the initialization, just replug till you can see > that a ZL10353 or MT352 device gets attached (it should show up in > dmesg) and it was just a matter of time, sooner or later it will be fixed. Now I've a usbsnoop session taken from windows wich I use to make the pen work under linux in this way: - plug the pen - got the wrong init in dmesg - remove em28xx modules - replay the usbsnoop file for a couple if seconds - reload em28xx module and get the correct init in dmesg. I use a Debian etch I686 with 2.6.18 kernel pathed with linux-dvb-kernel repository. This is a dmesg segment of a working initialization: Jan 6 14:00:14 localhost kernel: Table at 0x04, strings=0x206a, 0x006a, 0x0000 Jan 6 14:00:14 localhost kernel: tuner 0-0061: chip found @ 0xc2 (em28xx #0) Jan 6 14:00:14 localhost kernel: attach inform (default): detected I2C address c2 Jan 6 14:00:14 localhost kernel: Tuner: setting up tuner core extension for: Xceive 3028 Tuner Jan 6 14:00:14 localhost kernel: Loading base firmware: xc3028_init0.i2c.fw Jan 6 14:00:15 localhost kernel: Loading default analogue TV settings: xc3028_BG_PAL_A2_A.i2c.fw Jan 6 14:00:15 localhost kernel: attach_inform: tvp5150 detected. Jan 6 14:00:15 localhost kernel: tvp5150 0-005c: tvp5150am1 detected. and this is a bad one: Jan 6 14:46:57 localhost kernel: Table at 0x04, strings=0x206a, 0x006a, 0x0000 Jan 6 14:46:57 localhost kernel: attach_inform: tvp5150 detected. Jan 6 14:46:57 localhost kernel: tvp5150 0-005c: tvp5150am1 detected. Any idea or help?
