Hi, I'm trying to move from Windows onto Linux. One of the devices I have is
a MagicBox VP-7041

I think I have it working
With dmesg I get something like this (not actually this one, I forgot to
save the output)
- [ 4046.455924] usb 5-2: USB disconnect, address 3
- [ 4066.407381] usb 5-2: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and
address 8
- [ 4066.521806] dvb-usb: found a 'Hanftek UMT-010 DVB-T USB2.0' in cold
state, will try to load a firmware
- [ 4066.539796] dvb-usb: downloading firmware from file
'dvb-usb-umt-010-02.fw' to the 'Cypress FX2'
- [ 4066.571666] dvb-usb: Hanftek UMT-010 DVB-T USB2.0 successfully
initialized and connected.
- [ 4066.701374] usb 5-2: USB disconnect, address 8
- [ 4066.701404] dvb-usb: generic DVB-USB module successfully deinitialized
and disconnected.

Its a DiBcom USB1.1 DVB-T devices (based on the DiB3000M-B)

With scan I get the following (I'm in Italy)

But I think the problem is that 0:0 in video and audio ID.
I try for example with "canale 5" that works under windows, so the signal is
strong enough (why should it need to be stronger for linux than for
windows?), but doesn't work.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for your help
Bye, Christian
