frontend n timed out while tuning to channel nnn, tp nnnnnn

Hello,

I have 3 budgets dvb-s cards, which all work perfectly under Astra 19.2E
when I try to go to Astra 28.2E or Hotbird 13.0E I got :

frontend 0 timed out while tuning to channel nnn, tp nnnnnn
or sometimes
frontend 1 timed out while tuning to channel nnn, tp nnnnnn

reloading the driver and it works again...

Is there another way to solve this than reloading the driver ?

In case that matter (I guess so) :

And I am using hg sources from changeset: 5074:344763ebb94b
under kernel 2.6.19 on amd64 gentoo system.
And the same problem had always been it since I tested it.
