Hi, as I made a present to myself and bought a Hauppauge HVR 4000 for Christmas I still wonder in what state a Linux driver for the HVR4000 is. After some googling and mailing-list browsing I got to know that Steve Toth has a very early HVR4000 driver in his tree at linuxtv.org . But there doesn't seem to be any progress since September. And Manu Abraham seems to work on a driver for the Technotrend TT-3200 S2 card. So I wonder what the state of development is? If it is a lack of testing manpower or feedback I would be glad to help. I have a working Technotrend budget DVB-T card in an Opensuse 10.2 Athlon64 X2 4600 system, a working Technotrend Nexus DVB-S in an Opensuse 10.2 Athlon64 X2 4200 system and a shiny new Hauppauge HVR4000 in a dualboot(Opensuse 10.2/ Win XP(Xperiment)) X2 4600 system which does not work with Linux. So I would be happy for some information. Regards, Karsten. -- If two people are in a room and five walk out, do three people have to walk in again in order to have nobody inside.
