Hi Everyone,
I'm currently trying to setup a VDR machine based on an Hauppauge
Nova-S-CI (a budget) and an Astoncrypt v2 CAM (Mediaguard, in order to
decrypt the French Canal+/CanalSatellite with my subscription card).
Unfortunatelly, for now, I can only receive FTA channels. And VDR CAM
menu doesn't show any CAM :-(
I have included below an excerpt of /var/log/syslog. The line which
concerns me is the one that says "dvb_ca adapter 0: Invalid PC card
inserted".
Can someone explain what it means ? Does it mean the CAM is dead ? Or is
it unsupported ?
Is there anything I could do to fix this issue (activate more logs,
debugging) ?
Many thanks to you all.
