Hello,

  Thanks for all the hard work.  I downloaded and made v4l-dvb-kernel
and appear to have loaded the em28xx and em2880-dvb modules properly.

  using xawtv and tvtime I can tune analog channels, but I have had no luck
tuning digital channels with either mythtv .20 or the scan utility.

Attached are the outputs of dmesg and scan.  Any pointers would be
much appreciated.

  This is running on a fresh install of Kubuntu 6.10 downloaded tonight.

PS I have the tuner hooked up to an outdoor antenna that gets great
reception on our regular HDTV and tested the tuner on XP and it worked
properly

I have no idea what you're talking about.

I am cleaning up these changes here so that I can send you a patch to apply
to your tree,
only changing the minimum of what needs to be changed in order to make this
device work.
I have to leave the house soon, but I hope to have this ready tonight.
