Yeah that is possible. This is just loading a new firmware for the CAM.

You will have to route the Transport stream from the DVB card to the
PCMCIA module and back, after doing that a lot of juice would be gone
from your Host CPU.

Don't forget that you have to decode the MPEG stream as well
