Thanks for the reply and advice! Unfortunately it didn't help:(

I have a little more details now. During "make" I get a warning:

"/home/mythtv/Desktop/v4l-dvb-e0f7c5608bd9/v4l/dib7000m.c:207: warning:
'dib7000m_ops' defined but not used" but no errors.

Then, after install and reboot, this is the output from dmesg:

...
usb 1-1: USB disconnect, address 2
dvb_pll: no version for "struct_module" found: kernel tainted.
dvb_usb_dib0700: Unknown symbol dvb_usb_get_hexline

dvb_usb_dib0700: Unknown symbol dvb_usb_device_init

dvb_usb_dib0700: disagrees about version of symbol dvb_usb_device_init

...

If I "make reload":

...
usbcore: registered new driver dvb_usb_vp702x
dib0700: loaded with support for 2 different device-types
dvb-usb: found a 'Hauppauge Nova-T 500 Dual DVB-T' in warm state.

I don't know if any of this helps?
And I don't know if I'm supposed to get those "i2c" messages?

Best regards,
Thomas
