I suppose the main difference are some strings for button names. Since evtest also displays button events with unkown name it doesn't hurt if evtest doesn't know all. http://linuxconsole.cvs.sourceforge.net/linuxconsole/ruby/utils/evtest.c?revision=1.23&view=markup I don't know if other distributions package that tool. On SUSE Linux the package is called input-utils and also contains stuff like jscal and jstest. So on SUSE Linux the dvb evtest definitely is superflous. cu Ludwig -- (o_ Ludwig Nussel //\ SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Development V_/_ http://www.suse.de/ _______________________________________________ linux-dvb mailing list linux-dvb@xxxxxxxxxxx http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/linux-dvb
