Hi, seems like support for that device is broken... This shows the history of nova-t usb2 commits: http://linuxtv.org/hg/v4l-dvb?cmd=changelog&style=gitweb&rev=nova-t+usb2# you could try to check out an older version hg clone http://linuxtv.org/hg/v4l-dvb hg revert -r 1557 -- to get following revision -- 19 months ago- added support for Hauppauge WinTV NOVA-T USB2 (clone of MOD3000P by DiBcom) eb75b26df75d (1557) Patrick Boettcher [Wed, 02 Feb 2005 19:04:48 +0000] ------------------------------------- hg revert -r 4463 would also be interesting since it's not that old .. cheers, Markus On 8/27/06, Thomas Hood <thomas.hood@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:

I get a similarly incorrect MAC address: root@htpc-linux:/home/mythtv# dmesg | grep MAC [17179590.748000] dvb-usb: MAC address: 00:0d:fe:5f:5f:5f -- it says 000dfe084762 on the base of the unit. There don't appear to be any further responses yo that thread, so I don't know if a resolution was reached. Any ideas?
