I have been following this thread with interest. Unfortunately it seems
that the fix that works for everyone else doesn't work for me. I have
been talking to Erich Focht, and except for serial number, my card is
identical to his. The details are repeated here anyway.

Freecom DVB-T USB Stick
Art. No: 25451-rev.3 May 2006
www.freecom.com Made in Taiwan
S/N: 6575D0444592

I have another (older, art. no.: 25452) Freecom stick which works perfectly.

The new stick will tune sometimes, not others. The main problem I notice
is that it registers 2 frontends. This cannot be right, can it?

Upon hear is the dmesg of the card being inserted:

Other useful stuff:

root@crayzee:~/freecom-new/dvb-apps/util/scan# uname -r
2.6.16.27beng
[From kernel.org, but with v4l-dvb modules from mercurial.]
I have also tried a stock ubuntu 2.6.15-25 kernel and a latest 2.6.17.6
kernel from kernel.org.
