I used tzap to zap to the channel

vulkan ~ # tzap -x DasErste
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
reading channels from file '/root/.tzap/channels.conf'
tuning to 658000000 Hz
video pid 0x0101, audio pid 0x0102
status 1f | signal 3e3e | snr f2f2 | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK
status 1f | signal 3e3e | snr f2f2 | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK

The corrosponding line in my channels.conf is:

DasErste:658000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_3_4:FEC_AUTO:QAM_16:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_4:HIERARCHY_NONE:257:258:224

I have also tried to give dvbstream this infos via command line options.
Is this what you mean with "tune"?

Kind regards,
Tobias.
