Unfortunately, my 2nd answer: http://www.linuxtv.org/pipermail/linux-dvb/2006-June/011248.html is shown in a different thread in the archive of the mailing list. There must be strange bug with my mail program if I do not use reply directly and recompose the message from scratch (by cut and paste).
