I've tried with a new build tree using 2.6.17.1 and the latest mercurial (revision 4210). I get the same error and I'm sure it is not a problem of mplayer since "scan" from dvb-apps does the same. I have one of the old-fashioned WinTV NOVA T USB2 (Rev 93000) which has been working for months. Does anybody have an idea why it stopped working?
