I had already tried this patch, but it didn't work. I tried it once more
yet, so i downloaded the latest hg, applied this patch (got a message
about an offset of 1, but i don't think it matters) compiled, installed
and fully rebooted (to be sure to have the things done clearly). Still
nothing.

I've already wrote to this list suggesting to incorporate the patch in
the official source, I don't know why it has not been accepted.
