AverMedia AVerTV Hybrid+FM PCI: "dsp access error" in Debian Sid

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I use Debian Sid and are looking for one hybrid card: digital and analog TV
and FM radio. I've tested 3 cards, with not success :(

Now I'm testing one AverMedia AVerTV Hybrid+FM PCI like this:
http://www.averm.co.uk/avermedia/aver/products_digitvtuner_hybridPCI.asp

Seems that the card 46 detects the 3 devices: video0, vbi0 and radio0 [1]

But when I start KRadio and move the dial, have a lot of «dsp access error»:

---------------------------------
May 27 19:23:52 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]: dsp access error
May 27 19:24:24 itaca last message repeated 474 times
May 27 19:25:21 itaca last message repeated 1906 times
May 27 19:26:13 itaca last message repeated 1523 times
---------------------------------

The permisions are correct:

---------------------------------
$ ls -l /dev/dsp
crw-rw---- 1 root audio 14, 3 2006-05-27 20:17 /dev/dsp

$ groups
benjami lp dialout cdrom floppy audio video plugdev camera scanner usuaris
---------------------------------

BTW, the error appears when I start KRadio with the root user.

Any orientation?  Thanks!
