Please explain why you think hierarchical BC mode uses
MIS and stream_ids to select HP/LP. It contradicts
my understanding of the standard.
Let's try this way:
1. What SISMIS is used in the hierarchical modulation for the DVB-S2 stream?
-> if SISMIS == SIS then there is no problem
-> if SISMIS == MIS then there is a problem (see 2.)
I think this question isn't answered clearly by the standards.
As long as we don't know the correct answer we can't dicuss further on
that.
(Well Manu and I suppose that SISMIS == MIS)
It is indeed *not* Manu and I *suppose*, but *ETSI EN 300 468* Satellite
delivery system descriptor *explicitly* states that. Well, lot of things
become more clear, while reading *again* and *again*
Look at the S2 satellite delivery system descriptor again,
if (multiple_input_stream_flag) { // 1 bslbf
input_stream_identifier // 8 uimmsbf
}
What i understand from a Stop flag, is that, it means that i have to stop.
When we have a discussion, when somebody is having a doubt, it does
help, if you can make statements very explicit , avoiding terms like ,
"suppose", "i think" etc, unless you are in doubt.
Manu
