It helps me, too. I always had to reload dvb_ttpci with
modprobe -r dvb_ttpci
modprobe dvb_ttpci
I have two FF-DVB cards, (1) TT-C2300-Hybrid (Rev01) and (2) WinTV DVB-C
(Rev2.1).
The reload of dvb_ttpci and now "your" duplication-proposal is required
just for (1), not for (2).
I thought the cards are almost identical from the point of view of PCI-bus.
Since it was mentioned, it may depend also on motherboard and BIOS, here
follows mine:
Motherboard: Epox-8RDA-PRO
BIOS: Phoenix-Award
