Hauppauge Nova-T USB2 and remote control

Hi,

I have problems getting the remote control of my new Nova-T USB2 card
to work (viewing TV is just fine).

I'm running kernel 2.6.16.14 with standard Debian configuration (so
nearly all modules are available).

- dmesg outputs:

DVB: registering new adapter (Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-T usb2).
dvb-usb: MAC address: 00:0d:fe:02:ac:ef
dib3000: Found a DiBcom 3000P.
DVB: registering frontend 0 (DiBcom 3000P/M-C DVB-T)...
input: IR-receiver inside an USB DVB receiver as /class/input/input3
dvb-usb: schedule remote query interval to 100 msecs.
dvb-usb: Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-T usb2 successfully initialized and connected.
usbcore: registered new driver dvb_usb_nova_t_usb2

- cat /proc/bus/input/devices tells me:
[...]
I: Bus=0000 Vendor=0000 Product=0000 Version=0000
N: Name="IR-receiver inside an USB DVB receiver"
P: Phys=/ir0
S: Sysfs=/class/input/input3
H: Handlers=kbd event3
B: EV=3
B: KEY=afc302 2002805 0 0 0 4 18000 180 40000801 9e1680 0 800200 ffc

(I really don't like this Product=0000 stuff...)

- evtest /dev/input/event3 tells me:

Input driver version is 1.0.0
Input device ID: bus 0x0 vendor 0x0 product 0x0 version 0x0
Input device name: "IR-receiver inside an USB DVB receiver"
Supported events:
Event type 0 (Reset)
  Event code 0 (Reset)
  Event code 1 (Key)
Event type 1 (Key)
  Event code 2 (1)
  Event code 3 (2)
  Event code 4 (3)
  Event code 5 (4)
[...]
Testing ... (interrupt to exit)

When I press at this point some buttons on the remote control, the red
light of the USB box flickers, but it happens nothing on the screen
(analogously with cat /dev/events/input3).

Did I miss some module to load? How can I fix this?
