Hi folks, currently, I am struggling with the Nova-S-Plus (which should be the same as Nova-SE2 regarding this problem). I can watch TV with kaffeine, but only channels I do not really want to watch. (Below, there is a list with some of the channels which work.) However, the "ordinary german channels" like ARD, ZDF, Pro7, Sat1 are not found. This also applies when I try with scan from the dvb-utils package. The channels which work seem to have two things in common: The symbol rate is always 22000000 and I also believe that at least most of them are from Astra 2C. I have tried to track this down with dvbtune, dvbsnoop, dvbstream etc, but it seems that I am either too dumb to use these programs or they do not work at all. I have tried to manually tune some of these programs, but that did not work either. I am using a Debian sarge system with kernel 2.6.16 from backports.org. I am also using the newest v4l-dvb snapshot (20060115) and the "diseqc patch". Anyone knows what to do here?
