Hello everybody, I've just got a Artec T1 USB2 DVB external box: the device works in Windows XP, but with Linux I can't tune any channel. I'm using the driver from http://www.linuxtv.org/downloads/snapshots/v4l-dvb-20060115.tar.gz because the last hg tree gives me this error when compiling make -C /lib/modules/2.6.16-1.2069_FC4/build SUBDIRS=/root/dvb/v4l-dvb/v4l modules make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/src/kernels/2.6.16-1.2069_FC4-i586' /root/dvb/v4l-dvb/v4l/fdump dvb_ttpci_fw /root/dvb/v4l-dvb/v4l/av7110_firm.h usage: /root/dvb/v4l-dvb/v4l/fdump <ucode.bin> <array_name> <output_name> make[3]: *** [/root/dvb/v4l-dvb/v4l/av7110_firm.h] Error 255 make[2]: *** [_module_/root/dvb/v4l-dvb/v4l] Error 2 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kernels/2.6.16-1.2069_FC4-i586' make[1]: *** [default] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/dvb/v4l-dvb/v4l' make: *** [all] Error 2 I removed usbnet and the device is identified and the firmwmare loaded usb 3-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 4 usb 3-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice dvb-usb: found a 'Artec T1 USB1.1 TVBOX with AN2235 (faulty USB IDs)' in cold st ate, will try to load a firmware dvb-usb: downloading firmware from file 'dvb-usb-dibusb-an2235-01.fw' usbcore: registered new driver dvb_usb_dibusb_mb usb 3-1: USB disconnect, address 4 dvb-usb: generic DVB-USB module successfully deinitialized and disconnected. usb 3-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 5 usb 3-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice dvb-usb: found a 'DiBcom USB1.1 DVB-T reference design (MOD3000)' in warm state. dvb-usb: will use the device's hardware PID filter (table count: 16). I've also tried the patch described here http://www.linuxtv.org/pipermail/linux-dvb/2005-October/005612.html without any luck (BTW: why isn't it committed to the main driver?) Any suggestion ? _______________________________________________ linux-dvb@xxxxxxxxxxx http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/linux-dvb
