Twinhan SatExpress PCI, dst_probe: unknown device

Motherboard - VIA Epia M10000, OS - epiOS. I'm new to linux-dvb so started
from making sure board works on XP Pro (box is dual-bootable). Booted to
epiOS and modprobbed dvb-bt8xx, dmesg looks good. nscan was able to scan
12224 on Echostar-148, generated channels.conf, looks good too. szap
lockked on FTA channels just fine.

Than I tried to see if I can actually watch the signal, that's when
disaster strikes:

./szap -c channels_Echostar_148_szap.conf -l DBS -r "PAEC" &
xine stdin://mpeg2</dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0

After that screen went black, than fall back to login dialog covered by
green rectangular. After reboot card is not recognized anymore:

dst_probe: unknown device
frontend_init: could not find a Twinhan DST
dvb_bt8xx: a frontend driver was not found for device...

Made few reboots, including cold one, same results.

Reboot to Windows (same box), ProgDVB shows signal level/quality but no
picture (same FTA PAEC channel) and in properties shows bitrate but no
frame rate or width/height.

Run TwinhanDTV, rescan sat, lousy DTV detected only ~40 channels, switch
to some FTA (Dish info or something), voila - got picture!

Reboot to epiOS, modprobe dvb-bt8xx, got the same "frontend driver was not
found" :-(

Read somewhere that acpi=off might help here, but I don't know how to pass
it to the booting epiOS.

Below is dmesg in case somebody's willing to help:
