Yes, of course: 
ehci-hcd is loaded at boot time on the first (my laptop) host:

Not on the second host where dvbscan works: only support USB V1.1 .

If needed, I can compile a specific kernel, for example, 
latest and with debug messages with good option etc.. (I need few time for 
that: 1 week maximum).

So, it seems a personal laptop problem :/ ?
I will test on a third host :)
(no, I haven't a cluster at home ;-). )
