Ok, thank you for pointing that out. I thought I could copy only needed modules over to /lib/modules/[current kernel]. Or is that what make install does - to copy only what's needed? Sorry for all the typos and mistakes in my last mail :) I was in a hurry. So here we go again after a make install, anticipating that it did not work :(. # modprobe dst verbose=5 Linux video capture interface: v1.00 bttv: driver version 0.9.16 loaded bttv: using 8 buffers with 2080k (520 pages) each for capture bttv: Bt8xx card found (0). Now it's totaly broken :(. Is there something I can examine further to help you fixing this behaviour?? Could you please point out in short what the differences are between the version of the modules in the 2.6.15.3 kernel and the new ones you have given to me? I'm asking because it looks like a step back. I'm very grateful for your help!!
