Hi, I have a Hauppauge HVR-1100 which was working correctly at early December, 2005 in DVB-T mode. ( The analog audio had problems that time because of the not working cx88-alsa . ) Nowadays I updated the v4l-dvb CVS and I try to use it again and I don't get any data reading from /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0. I even tried to use the jelle-cx88-mpeg-restart-queue-fix.patch. I tried to put the card to another PCI slot. Unfortunatelly I don't have the binary drivers used that time. My kernel version is: 2.6.14-gentoo-r5 The dmesg output seems to be OK after modprobe cx88-dvb: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Linux video capture interface: v1.00 cx2388x dvb driver version 0.0.5 loaded CORE cx88[0]: subsystem: 0070:9402, board: Hauppauge WinTV-HVR1100 DVB-T/Hybrid [card=40,autodetected] TV tuner 63 at 0x1fe, Radio tuner -1 at 0x1fe tveeprom 0-0050: Hauppauge model 94009, rev C2A0, serial# 119219 tveeprom 0-0050: MAC address is 00-0D-FE-01-D1-B3 tveeprom 0-0050: tuner model is Philips FMD1216ME (idx 100, type 63) tveeprom 0-0050: TV standards PAL(B/G) PAL(I) SECAM(L/L') PAL(D/D1/K) ATSC/DVB Digital (eeprom 0xf4) tveeprom 0-0050: audio processor is CX882 (idx 33) tveeprom 0-0050: decoder processor is CX882 (idx 25) tveeprom 0-0050: has radio, has IR remote cx88[0]: hauppauge eeprom: model=94009 ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:0e.2[A] -> Link [LNKB] -> GSI 10 (level, low) -> IRQ 10 cx88[0]/2: found at 0000:00:0e.2, rev: 5, irq: 10, latency: 32, mmio: 0xe1000000cx88[0]/2: cx2388x based dvb card DVB: registering new adapter (cx88[0]). Does anybody have any idea what could be the problem ? I've read all the video4linux messages and I don't see anybody having the same problem, so maybe something wrong with my setup :-( -- Csaba Paradi csabi@xxxxxxxx Ruby Co. +36 30 9494542
