I've used the usb box in windows and I don't recall analog stereo sound being a problem. I cant check now though, because I'm using it right now, using my updates to the cxusb driver in linux, to watch HOUSE, on FOX. Anyhow, the bluebird box does in fact have a cx25843 .... I don't think it has a separate audio chip, but I'll have to open it up and look again... As of now, there is no analog support for this device in linux at all, although I'd like to eventually add it. When that times comes, I will probably figure out some of the answers to these questions. The person who posted on AVS forum.... Which FusionHDTV USB box does he/she have? It's possible that it may be one of the DVB-T versions.... (not mine, the ATSC version) Maybe that explains why I dont know about this particular IC. hmmm??? -Mike
