I watched Gerd at it for years from when bttv was an add-on and I was very impressed when after a short period of silence following his announcement that he could no longer run the project, the number of guys who stepped up to take it on and expand it. This is the fastest moving project I can remember and one that slots so well into kernel development, I no longer have to use the CVS versions for the 3 cards in 3 boxen, 2 here and 1 at my daughter's. Yet I'm aware that the next attractive offer I come across or someone who needs help to get different cards running, CVS, oops! hg may well be where I have to go. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ...
