It's an attitude I find prevalent in my dealings with Linux newbies who are coming from an environment where you plug the card in, run a CD and it does whatever it does, no comebacks if it doesn't do something they would like - "it just does that" is accepted. On here, you can ask for features, make corrections, test the software and offer feedback. Devlopers such as yourself are very attentive and do a sterling job, that's why I'm on the list and all of us should realise the results are product of a hard slog in your own time. I have issues not to do with TV cards, I test new kernels, see improvements and hope one day, I can get the stuff to work properly.
