I have a Artec T1 which I was using successfully with the 2.6.12.3 vanila kernel and firmware dvb-dibusb-an2235-01.fw. I had to rename the firmware to 1.fw and this was put in /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware. But I wasn`t able to scan all channels so I decided to wait awhile and get a new kernel ( Hoping that bugs would be fixed in that time ). But now I am having problems with loading the firmware. dmesg reports : usb 3-1: USB disconnect, address 3 usb 3-1: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 4 usbtest 3-1:1.0: EZ-USB device usbtest 3-1:1.0: full speed {control bulk-in bulk-out} tests (+alt) Operating system is Debian 3.1 Am I using the correct firmware version for that kernel / Is the firmware in the correct place ? Any pointers in the right direction would be a great help. Thanks in advance. Mick
