hi everybody, i'm using a Yakumo DVB-T mobile USB 2.0 box and a 2.6.14-gentoo-r5 (gentoo-sources) kernel. i'm trying to get this box working for a few months, today i finally decided ( after an irc conversation on #linuxtv ) to post my problems to this list... the problem is that when i compile the dvb-kernel cvs sources or the new v4l-dvb cvs sources and install them and the firmware file ( dvb-usb-dtt200u-01.fw ) and do the modprobes, dmesg shows me the following: usbcore: registered new driver dvb_usb_dtt200u usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3 dvb-usb: found a 'WideView/Yuan/Yakumo/Hama/Typhoon DVB-T USB2.0 (WT-200U)' in cold state, will try to load a firmware dvb-usb: downloading firmware from file 'dvb-usb-dtt200u-01.fw' usb 1-2: USB disconnect, address 3 dvb-usb: generic DVB-USB module successfully deinitialized and disconnected. usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 4 dvb-usb: found a 'WideView/Yuan/Yakumo/Hama/Typhoon DVB-T USB2.0 (WT-200U)' in warm state. dvb-usb: will use the device's hardware PID filter (table count: 15). DVB: registering new adapter (WideView/Yuan/Yakumo/Hama/Typhoon DVB-T USB2.0 (WT-200U)). DVB: registering frontend 0 (WideView USB DVB-T)... dvb-usb: schedule remote query interval to 300 msecs. dvb-usb: WideView/Yuan/Yakumo/Hama/Typhoon DVB-T USB2.0 (WT-200U) successfully initialized and connected. dvb-usb: recv bulk message failed: -110 ok, then i start tscan or kaffeine and start scanning, sometimes scanning finishes without problems sometimes not... watching a channel via kaffeine makes kaffeine 0.7.1 crash... today when i tried tzap it produces no locks, it just sits there and does nothing ( i can't even kill it... :( ) but a few weeks before tzap worked and got fe_locks... now the proplem: my system randomly hardfreezes when i do scanning or zapping! with hardfreezing i mean that xorg freezes, ssh too and i see a fixed image (the last xorg screen before freeze). only the power button helps if pressed for 10 seconds... today when i compiled todays dvb-kernel cvs sources with gcc 3.4.4 kaffeine also crashed but the system didn't hardfreeze ( it freezed at the second try... ) dmesg showed my the following: usbcore: registered new driver dvb_usb_dtt200u usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3 dvb-usb: found a 'WideView/Yuan/Yakumo/Hama/Typhoon DVB-T USB2.0 (WT-200U)' in cold state, will try to load a firmware dvb-usb: downloading firmware from file 'dvb-usb-dtt200u-01.fw' usb 1-2: USB disconnect, address 3 dvb-usb: generic DVB-USB module successfully deinitialized and disconnected. usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 4 dvb-usb: found a 'WideView/Yuan/Yakumo/Hama/Typhoon DVB-T USB2.0 (WT-200U)' in warm state. dvb-usb: will use the device's hardware PID filter (table count: 15).
