An attempt to fix Oops on rmmod when the cinergyT2 is still in
use has been in CVS for a while and has recently sent to Linus.

However, the issue that the Cinergy stops working is new to me.
Are there any USB error messages in dmesg when this happens?
If not, could you try SysRq-T and check if a kernel thread related
to USB or DVB hangs somewhere?
Maybe your laptop's USB power supply isn't good enough? I have
occational used one CinergyT2 on my laptop and it worked fine.
