Hello, I want to try the 2.5.15-rc5-mm3 with v4l-dvb. Have I understood right that I could do an installation without any dvb/v4l in my kernel, and from the v4l-dvb I can do a make install ? I am running 2.5.15-rc5 : is that right that it will compil and install for the /usr/src/linux ? nvidia does it this way, but the vmware installer did (haven't tried for a very long time...) install for the running kernel, which I found rather annoying.
