Hi Team Have just purchased one of these on the basis that it should work. Under windows it works just fine, but I noticed the software is locked by a CD Key Under SUSE 10.0 I cant get it to tune, or scan using dvbscan. Here is what I have done ===================================================== I have patched suse 10.0 (2.6.13-15) with the 2.6.13 patch from http://www.linuxtv.org/download/dvb/patches/2.6.13/ make, make modules, make modules_install Reboot I have downloaded the following firmware dvb-usb-wt220u-01.fw <http://www.linuxtv.org/download/dvb/firmware/dvb-usb-wt220u-01.fw> and installed to /lib/firmware. >md5sum shows 782c9937b3f42e5248584570857c8b7f dvb-usb-wt220u-01.fw The Stick I have is labled september 2005 When I insert the stick into the USB, the orange LED comes on and stays on. I check dmesg and get the following dvb-usb: found a 'WideView WT-220U PenType Receiver (Typhoon/Freecom)' in warm state. dvb-usb: will use the device's hardware PID filter (table count: 15). DVB: registering new adapter (WideView WT-220U PenType Receiver (Typhoon/Freecom)). DVB: registering frontend 0 (WideView USB DVB-T)... dvb-usb: schedule remote query interval to 300 msecs. dvb-usb: WideView WT-220U PenType Receiver (Typhoon/Freecom) successfully initialized and connected. usbcore: registered new driver dvb_usb_dtt200u dvb-usb: recv bulk message failed: -110 However dvbscan like so >dvbscan /usr/share/dvb/scan/dvb-t/uk-CrystalPalace > ~/.tzap/channels.conf I get the following output scanning /usr/share/dvb/scan/dvb-t/uk-CrystalPalace using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0' initial transponder 505833333 0 3 9 1 0 0 0 >>> tune to: 505833333:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_3_4:FEC_AUTO:QAM_16:TRANSMISSION_MODE_2K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_32:HIERARCHY_NONE WARNING: >>> tuning failed!!! >>> tune to: 505833333:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_3_4:FEC_AUTO:QAM_16:TRANSMISSION_MODE_2K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_32:HIERARCHY_NONE (tuning failed) WARNING: >>> tuning failed!!!
