[linux-dvb] DViCO FusionHDTV DVB-T Lite

Hi,

I am trying to get my dvb card running but i just doesn't work and I am
running out of ideas. I'm using gentoo and tried the current kernel
which is 2.6.13-gentoo-r5 and also 2.6.11 with patches.
The latest attempt was to get 2.6.14.2 kernel sources, apply the
v4l-kernel and dvb-kernel CVS sources and build everything like it's
described in http://linuxtv.org/v4lwiki/index.php/How_to_build_from_CVS.

I am sure that the card has a Thomson 7579 tuner rather than a Philips.
It's written on the can: DTT 7579
This is an Australian card and we're using PAL over here.

This is what happens:
# modprobe bttv
bttv: driver version 0.9.16 loaded
bttv: using 8 buffers with 2080k (520 pages) each for capture
bttv: Bt8xx card found (0).
ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:09.0[A] -> Link [LNKB] -> GSI 5 (level, low) -> IRQ 5
bttv0: Bt878 (rev 17) at 0000:00:09.0, irq: 5, latency: 32, mmio: 0xdf002000
bttv0: detected: DViCO FusionHDTV DVB-T Lite [card=128], PCI subsystem ID is 18ac:db10
bttv0: using: DViCO FusionHDTV DVB-T Lite [card=128,autodetected]
bttv0: gpio: en=00000000, out=00000000 in=00ffffff [init]
bttv0: using tuner=-1
bttv0: add subdevice "dvb0"
# modprobe dvb-bt8xx
bt878: AUDIO driver version 0.0.0 loaded
bt878: Bt878 AUDIO function found (0).
ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:09.1[A] -> Link [LNKB] -> GSI 5 (level, low)

DVB: registering new adapter (bttv0).
DVB: registering frontend 0 (Zarlink MT352 DVB-T)...

I tried modprobe bttv tuner=42 but the result is the same:
linuxtv-dvb-apps-1.1.0/util/szap/tzap "Digital"
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
tuning to 177500000 Hz
video pid 0x0601, audio pid 0x0602
status 00 | signal 90ef | snr 0000 | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 |
status 1f | signal a6bf | snr bfbf | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK
status 1f | signal a6bf | snr c2c2 | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK
and so on..

but cat /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0 is just empty

Any Ideas how to get that thing running?
Here are some more outputs:
