[linux-dvb] putting dvb card into letter box mode ?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all,

I hope this isn't the wrong list to ask this, apologies if it is.

I have three inputs on a myth box - s-video in on a pvr-350, and two
freeview (DVB-T) cards. output is via the pvr-350 tv out.

I have the source for the s-video, a sky satellite digibox, set to 4:3L
(letterbox). This outputs correctly as a faux widescreen image on a 4:3
tv.

The two dvb-t cards though are too big for the output. I think they are
in 16:9 format. A standalone DVB box I have (sony) has an option to go
into letterbox mode, but I'm not sure if this is a feature of the input
or the output?

Can I set the two dvb-t cards to 4:3L via the command line ? Or do I
have to do something to the pvr-350 output to display them correctly?

Thanks
John
