[linux-dvb] Artec T1 USB2 DVB

Hello all,

I've just got a Artec T1 USB2 DVB external box.

I can get this device to work in Windows 2000, but have had limited
success in Linux.

I've followed the directions at
http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Artec_T1_USB_TV_Box , downloading
the cvs drivers and uncommented the DVB_USB_DIBUSB_MB_FAULTY_USB_IDs
entry in dibusb-mb.c.

I've also rm'd the usbtest module, as this was being loaded before
anything else.

Now, I get success in at least dmesg:

usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 9
dvb-usb: found a 'DiBcom USB1.1 DVB-T reference design (MOD3000)' in
warm state.dvb-usb: will use the device's hardware PID filter (table
count: 16).
DVB: registering new adapter (DiBcom USB1.1 DVB-T reference design
(MOD3000)).
DVB: registering frontend 0 (DiBcom 3000M-B DVB-T)...
dibusb: this device has the Panasonic ENV77H11D5 onboard.
dvb-usb: schedule remote query interval to 150 msecs.
dvb-usb: DiBcom USB1.1 DVB-T reference design (MOD3000) successfully
initialized and connected.

But I cannot get any results to scan:

[root@localhost scan]# ./dvbscan -vv dvb-t/uk-CrystalPalace

Done.

I usually get TV signal from CrystalPalace (well, analogue anyway) so I
expected this to work.

The Windows driver just took about 5 minutes, and detected all the
channels automatically. :-(

I've also tried with Kaffeine.
kaffeine doesn't show any channels and just shows SNR and signal as zero
(and booting to windows these are 80-90%).

dvbsi : Cant tune DVB

dvbsi : The end :)

Am I doing anything wrong, or can anybody give me a point in the right
direction?

Thanks,

Richard Hughes
