[linux-dvb] Tuning with the Twinhan Alpha

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,
I am using the Digital Now Bettle (same as the TH alpha) with FC4
2.6.13. When I try to scan for the channels, all I get is tuning
failed messages. I ran with verbose logging, but it didn't yield much
more info. I then decided to plug it into my Mac so I could get the
pid's for each channel. I created a channels.conf file for xine to
use, but it never was able to display it. I then used Kaffeine to try
and tune it and it too failed. The signal strength when tuning
displayed between 88%-95%. The aerial was the same when I used it on
the Mac and it tuned and I could watch tv okay.

I am just using the stock Fedora core kernel. Do I need to build a
custom kernel or is there something I am just missing here?

Any help is greatly appreciated/

Regards,
Greg
