Hi, I am using the Digital Now Bettle (same as the TH alpha) with FC4 2.6.13. When I try to scan for the channels, all I get is tuning failed messages. I ran with verbose logging, but it didn't yield much more info. I then decided to plug it into my Mac so I could get the pid's for each channel. I created a channels.conf file for xine to use, but it never was able to display it. I then used Kaffeine to try and tune it and it too failed. The signal strength when tuning displayed between 88%-95%. The aerial was the same when I used it on the Mac and it tuned and I could watch tv okay. I am just using the stock Fedora core kernel. Do I need to build a custom kernel or is there something I am just missing here? Any help is greatly appreciated/ Regards, Greg [mythtv@localhost ~]$ scan -vvvvvvvv .scan.cfg > channels.conf scanning .scan.cfg using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0' initial transponder 767500000 1 3 0 3 1 1 0 initial transponder 585500000 1 2 0 3 1 2 0 initial transponder 704500000 1 2 0 3 1 2 0 initial transponder 809500000 1 3 0 3 1 1 0 initial transponder 788500000 1 3 0 3 1 1 0 initial transponder 634500000 1 3 0 3 1 1 0 initial transponder 746500000 1 3 0 3 1 1 0 initial transponder 725500000 1 3 0 3 1 1 0 >>> tune to: 767500000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_7_MHZ:FEC_3_4:FEC_NONE:QAM_64:TRANSMI SSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_16:HIERARCHY_NONE >>> tuning status == 0x00 >>> tuning status == 0x00 >>> tuning status == 0x01 >>> tuning status == 0x01 >>> tuning status == 0x05 >>> tuning status == 0x05 >>> tuning status == 0x01 >>> tuning status == 0x05 >>> tuning status == 0x01 >>> tuning status == 0x01 WARNING: >>> tuning failed!!! >>> tune to: 767500000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_7_MHZ:FEC_3_4:FEC_NONE:QAM_64:TRANSMI SSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_16:HIERARCHY_NONE (tuning failed) >>> tuning status == 0x01 >>> tuning status == 0x05 >>> tuning status == 0x05 >>> tuning status == 0x01 >>> tuning status == 0x05 >>> tuning status == 0x05 >>> tuning status == 0x01 >>> tuning status == 0x05 >>> tuning status == 0x01 >>> tuning status == 0x01 WARNING: >>> tuning failed!!!
