[linux-dvb] signal strength == 0?

Hello,

I just got a Sky2PC/Skystar2 dvb/s card (registerd by a FlexCop IIb)

but when I ask it about whether it has a lock or not it says 0 for both 
snr and signal strength.  Is there a reason why we don't have the ability 
to get snr from it? It uses the stv0299 frontend.
