Usually av7110_bootarm() errors indicate some kind of hardware problem.
- Verify that the card is properly seated in the pci slot.
- Try another pci slot. (Ok, you did this already.)
- Try with a different computer.
- Test the card withon a windows machine.

There have been reports at vdr-portal about problems with some rev. 2.3
cards:

Apparently some rev 2.3 cards have problems with some mainboards or
power supplies.
