Just wanted to say a big THANKS to all of you who spent a little of your your busy time to answer my stupid questions! I collected all the good advice I got, patched and compiled a custom kernel; now it "Just Works"(tm) ... :-) My big mistake was that I didn't realize that there actually are two cx88 drivers, one for vbi + video devices and one for dvb/adapter/* devices :-/ Seems that the cx88-dvb driver isn't included in the 2.6.11-1.14_FC3 kernel. I'll cleanup my notes and share them here eventually but for the time being I'll give a little something back - an initial tuning data file for the Swedish G?teborg/Brudaremossen transmitter.
