Hi! Is it possible to use the Nexus-S 2.3 revision with kernel 2.4, in CVS i saw some patches for this card, but only for kernel 2.6. I tried to add the PCI id 0x000e into to my driver (saa7146_core.c) changed, added like this --snip-- static struct card_info tt_2_1 = { DVB_CARD_TT_SIEMENS, "Technotrend/Hauppauge PCI rev2.1 or 2.2 or 2.3" }; static struct pci_device_id saa7146_pci_tbl[] __devinitdata = { ... { PHILIPS_SAA7146, 0x13c2, 0x000e, CARD_INFO tt_2_1 }, ... } --snip-- and it works (I can use all VDR features), but if there is a outcomm error, I can't just reboot to reinitialize the card, I have to switch my computer off and then on to use the card again otherwise the driver loads without any error message but vdr doesn't find a primary device. (reloading the driver did not work too). Is there any solution for this? Or when will there be a backport of the actual 2.6 kernel-driver? At the moment I'm using the linux-dvb.2004-12-26 driver, as supposed by Klaus Schmidinger for his vdr Regards Marco -- vierzehn Bahnhofstr. 27 Telefon 0 26 32 / 98 98 - 120 public relations 56626 Andernach Telefax 0 26 32 / 98 98 - 111 GmbH & Co.
