Hi, I wanted to give the new drivers for the Medion 7134 hybrid card a try, but I can't get it to work. I got the v4l snapshot from 26.04.2005 and patched it with the drivers from Hartmut Hackmann. When I start cardmgr it loads some modules: Module Size Used by tda9887 8344 0 tuner 19176 0 saa7134 81044 0 videodev 4608 1 saa7134 video_buf 11012 1 saa7134 v4l2_common 3008 1 saa7134 v4l1_compat 11076 1 saa7134 ir_kbd_i2c 4300 0 ir_common 3972 2 saa7134,ir_kbd_i2c btcx_risc 2376 0 The card was found: Linux video capture interface: v1.00 saa7130/34: v4l2 driver version 0.2.12 loaded saa7130/34: snapshot date 2005-04-26 ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:06:00.0[A] -> Link [LNKB] -> GSI 10 (level, low) -> IRQ 10 saa7134[0]: found at 0000:06:00.0, rev: 1, irq: 10, latency: 64, mmio: 0x21000000 saa7134[0]: subsystem: 16be:0003, board: Medion 7134 [card=12,autodetected] saa7134[0]: board init: gpio is 0 saa7134[0]: i2c eeprom 00: be 16 03 00 54 20 1c 00 43 43 a9 1c 55 d2 b2 92 saa7134[0]: i2c eeprom 10: 00 ff 86 0f ff 20 ff 00 01 50 32 79 01 3c ca 50 saa7134[0]: i2c eeprom 20: 01 40 01 02 02 03 01 00 06 ff 00 1f 02 51 96 2b saa7134[0]: i2c eeprom 30: a7 58 7a 1f 03 8e 84 5e da 7a 04 b3 05 87 b2 3c saa7134[0]: Board MD7134 has DVB-T tuner 4-0061: chip found @ 0xc2 (saa7134[0]) tuner 4-0061: type set to 58 (Philips FMD1216ME MK3 Hybrid Tuner) tda9885/6/7: chip found @ 0x86 saa7134[0]: registered device video0 [v4l2] saa7134[0]: registered device vbi0 saa7134[0]: registered device radio0 saa7134[0]/audio: audio carrier scan failed, using 5.500 MHz [default] But there are no dvb devices. Do I have to load any other modules ? I can't test the card, because I don't receive DVB-T atm, but it would be very cool if the driver would work until 2006 when DVB-T starts here. S.
