I assume you have the vp310(mt312)-frontend? Unfortunately I cannot say much about the problem you mention ('sometimes the diseqc doesn't get switched'), because I don't have diseqc-equipemnt to test. One possible way of debugging would be to compare the buffers written by the skystar2-driver and the flexcop-driver in case diseqc is handled by the flexcop-chip.
