[linux-dvb] Network problems using DVB-T

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi guys..

I'm new to the list, but couldn't see the answer to my question in the
list archives.

I have a strange problem.. The DVB stuff is all working pretty much
fine, but reasonably often, when changing channels my network connection
seems to die, no packets in or out, but ifconfig reckons it's up.

Performing an ifconfig up/down and resetting the default gateway gets it
back up and running, but it still drops it again after a few retunes.

System - SuSe 9.2 Kernel 2.6.8-24
Athlon64 - nForce3 chipset with the onboard GigE
(running at 100Mb)
Hauppage NOVA-T USB 2.0 in an onboard USB2
A few other USB devices such as keyboard/mouse and a 1.1
hub
DVB drivers from a week or so ago

Is my problem just because I'm on the 2.6.8 kernel? Or is it something
deeper?

Thanks in advance.

Richard.
