It looks like the initial tuning file you are using is
not suitable for your area or you forgot to plug in
the aerial when you plugged it into your linux box.

The results you are getting are what you'd expect from
no signal being found and locked on those frequencies.

Have you tried creating your own tuning file? Check
the frequencies in your windows tv app and plug them
into a   text file aping fr-Paris.  It's certainly
possible that the frequencies aren't the same around
Paris.
