Hm, I don't know what dvb-kernel.tar.gz is, and I don't use SuSE. :-( The CVS driver works here with a vanilla 2.6.11.7 kernel. Usually such problems happen - if kernel and driver are compiled with different compiler versions or - DVB driver modules shipped with the kernel are mixed with CVS drivers I suggest a fresh CVS checkout, see http://linuxtv.org/cvs.php For testing you can compile the CVS drivers outside the kernel in the build-2.6 directory. Use the insmod.sh script to load/unload the driver.
