hi,

i'd like to share some more info about the test i'm doing

following nico suggestion, i tried to load the card this way:

   #modprobe saa7134 tuner=54 i2c_scan=1

this is the relevant "dmesg" entry:

this way, YES, i can receive analog TV!

but tvtime can't see anymore the composite and svideo input capabilities!

anyway, using this modprobe line:

  #modprobe saa7134 card=39 i2c_scan=1

these are the dmesg entries

status:

- i still can see the analog tv
- tvtime can find the svideo and composite1 inputs but,
- i don't see a known good composite source thru the composite input

so for the svideo & composite input support, it should be "still" just a
matter for the correct gpio programming!

how can i try to smart mangle with those gpio registers?

then i'd like to say that on the flyvideo case there's an orange led off
on linux and going on when i run the windows driver (could be a signal
when the driver initialise and loads a firmware on the tda10046 dvb-t chip?)

BTW you can see in both the dmesg log the output of an i2c_scan i put in
the modprobe.

there is the i2c device at address 0x10; it should be the tda10046
demod, as seen in other v4l messages..

that's all for this week. good evening
