I have an Air2PC ATSC PCI card running a Fedora Core 3. This was with the driver fetched from CVS on March 22nd. I ran ./makelinks /usr/src/linux, changed the driver in the kernel to the "NEW" one, rebuilt. This machine (MSI Hetis 865GV) has behaved funny in the past, for instance when I place a PCI Geforce 5200FX in it and make it the primary display adapter, I always oops on bootup in a similar fashion when it is "probing" the ethernet device.
