I have to confess that I never used BadRam or memmap. The only thing I
ever did in the past, when I was using bad quality motherboards
and memory modules usually sold here was:

	1) Reinsert/swap the memory modules

	2) Buy new modules (best!) or try to exchange the memory
	   if you have spare-parts

(and 1.1: cleanup memory and PCI contacts with isopropilic alcohol)

The memmap parameter, mentioned on this document seems to be there
at the mm subsystem. So, one way to update it would be to simply
throw away the BadRAM section.
